THE BRIEF
Ohio Medical Alliance, a multi-state medical marijuana company, needed a cohesive and engaging social media presence across its six sister companies, each operating in different states with unique cannabis laws. Managing a total of 18 social media accounts across Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, I developed a unified brand identity, including consistent colors, voice, and messaging that resonated across all platforms. Previously, their content was heavily data-driven, filled with charts and news updates, which felt impersonal. I rebranded their approach, shifting the focus to fun, approachable, and educational content—balancing state-specific regulations with national cannabis news. This role was highly design-intensive, as I created all social media graphics while also writing compelling copy and authoring blogs that reinforced key messaging. Through this strategy, I helped transform their social presence into a more engaging and informative space that better connected with their audience.
