THE BRIEF

The Party of One campaign was a four-week launch designed to introduce The Layered Top, the first piece from Ova’s Fall/Winter drop. Shot in a single day with one model, the campaign tapped into Ova’s core audience—the "fashionistas"—who see getting ready as just as fun (if not more) than the night out itself. We wanted to capture that feeling of anticipation, excitement, and self-expression, so we built the campaign around three key moments in the getting-ready process.

First, we shot the hair & makeup phase, where the model wore The Layered Top, oversized briefs, and slouchy socks, with curlers in her hair, creating that effortless, off-duty coolness. Next came pre-gaming, where she sipped champagne in just The Layered Top, black thong, and tights, mid-transformation and effortlessly chic for around the house. Finally, we revealed the full look, pairing the top with Ova’s bloomer shorts, heels, and a leopard print coat, ready to step out in true "it-girl" fashion. The entire shoot took place in a vintage Beverly Hills apartment, setting the perfect scene—intimate, stylish, and totally aspirational.

The campaign was a huge success, with The Layered Top getting featured by two high-engagement influencers in Ova’s top-performing cities, LA and NYC. On top of that, Ova was invited to showcase its pieces in an LA boutique, giving customers the chance to experience the brand in person. By leaning into the fashionista mindset and celebrating the joy of getting dressed, Party of One reinforced Ova’s identity as a brand made for stylish, self-assured women who love fashion for fashion’s sake.
